Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients with activities of daily living and basic care during the evening hours.

This full-time role covers 12-hour shifts and requires supervision by a Registered Nurse. You will assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, routine care, and documentation in the EMR, while ensuring a safe and clean environment and compassionate patient interactions across pediatric and geriatric needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Completion of an approved Aide Training Program required or SRNA.

Summary

Job Description:

Full Time / 36 hours weekly/ 12 hour shifts / 7PM

Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated, assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team/and or unit.

Essential Duties:

• Personal hygiene

• Routine care
• Documentation of patient care in EMR based on scope of practice

Preferred Requirements:

• 1 year of experience preferred
• Successful completion of an Approved Aide Training Program/SRNA
