Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant to join our care team in Paducah, KY. The role covers 24 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vitals, and documenting care in the EMR. Prior experience and completion of an approved aide training program are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care and nursing support is preferred.
• Ability to monitor vitals and assist with ADLs.
• Proficiency in EMR documentation under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment on the unit.
• Document patient care in the EMR according to scope of practice.

Summary

Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated, assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team/and or unit.

Preferred Requirements:

• 1 year of experience prefer
• Successful completion of an Approved Aide Training Program/SRNA
