Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist physicians and provide compassionate patient care across a range of conditions. This full-time, 12-hour day shift role focuses on supporting ADLs, reporting patient information, and maintaining patient safety.

You will perform duties including transport, specimen collection, and delivering linens and meals. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and prior healthcare experience; a CT

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or in process of earning a BA in Nursing OR Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed OR significant previous healthcare related experience
• Proof with college transcript required OR have significant nurse assistant/healthcare related experience is required
• Certification: BLS certification required
• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
