Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited School of Nursing.
• Has completed the first year of clinical rotations in an acute care hospital.
• CNA license and BLS certification required.
• Ability to assess patients and follow care plans under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy.
• In coordination with RN preceptor, formulate a patient care plan.
• Revise plan of care as indicated by patient response and evaluate daily effectiveness under RN supervision.
• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration under RN supervision.
