Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Nurse Apprentice to support the Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit nursing team. The unit consists of 18 critical care beds and 17 step-down beds, serving post-operative and neurological injury patients.

This part-time role features a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will assist with nursing care under licensed supervision and perform CNA/UAP tasks.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application with the Idaho State Board.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire if not already ACLS/PALS.
• Six months of patient care experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at unit level with clerical and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services under the direction of licensed nurses as CNA/UAP.
