Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa, ID, is hiring a Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team on multiple day and night shifts across several departments.

Ideal candidates are adaptive, eager to learn, and team players who can support clerical tasks, patient service coordination, and basic nursing care under supervision of licensed nurses. A CNA experience is preferred and BLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level with clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care services under the direction of licensed nurses; assist with patient comfort and personal needs.
