Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team. We are hiring for PRN day and night shifts across General Surgery, Medical Oncology, Critical Care, Telemetry, Ortho Med/Surg and the Float Pool.

Ideal candidates adapt easily, are self-driven learners, and work well as part of a team. You will support clinical staff and perform nursing care tasks under supervision to assist patients’ personal needs.

Qualifications

• CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred (six months).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Maintain a Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services under the direction of licensed nurses to assist patients’ needs and comfort.
