Job summary

University of Detroit Mercy seeks a dynamic Site Director / Assistant/Associate Professor for its DNP Nurse Anesthesia program at the Grand Rapids site. The role combines teaching, site leadership, and strategic development to expand regional presence and partnerships.

The candidate will oversee operations, mentor faculty, coordinate clinical sites, and contribute to scholarship while maintaining clinical engagement. This 12‑month FT faculty position supports accreditation and program growth.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in nursing practice or equivalent.
• CRNA certification in good standing with NBCRNA.
• Minimum of three years of clinical anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a site administrator for the Grand Rapids site and oversee daily operations.
• Teach didactic, clinical, and simulation coursework within the DNP Nurse Anesthesia curriculum.
• Grow and manage clinical sites in the Grand Rapids region; ensure COA standards alignment.
