Job summary

Mount Carmel College of Nursing seeks an experienced CRNA educator and academic leader to serve as Program Director for its DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program. Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) or related field.
• Current certification as a CRNA.
• Unencumbered RN and APRN licenses (OH).
• Minimum of five years CRNA clinical practice.
• Minimum of three years academic nurse anesthesia education.
• Knowledge of COA accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead program leadership and administration with strategic planning and QA.
• Ensure COA accreditation standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with academic and clinical partners for quality clinical education.
• Develop policies, procedures, and program outcomes; prepare accreditation reports.
• Oversee curriculum development and evaluation to align with DNP/CRNA competencies.
• Teach didactic and clinical courses as appropriate; use evidence-based practice.
• Mentor faculty; recruit, hire, and evaluate instructors.
• Provide academic advising and support to students; promote inclusive learning.
• Maintain scholarship and professional engagement; represent the program externally.

Education
