Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, teaching, admissions, student placement, and program assessment, with ongoing leadership to foster a diverse, academically rigorous environment.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• MS in nursing or equivalent with advanced practice focus.
• Licensure to practice nursing in Pennsylvania.
• National CRNA certification.
• Academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
• Evidence of progressive leadership and academic responsibilities.
• Demonstrated scholarly productivity and program development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure congruence between program mission and educational goals with the Director.
• Align program with accreditation standards and nursing education standards.
• Monitor accrediting agency policies to maintain compliance.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate curriculum with faculty and staff.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and operating resources for the program.
• Support day-to-day operations and clinical instruction with university affiliates.
• Administer anesthesia clinically one day per week to maintain expertise and teach students.
