Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Nurse Anesthesia faculty leader to supervise clinical faculty and preceptors while developing and updating policies and course materials. You will coordinate practicum experiences and advise students under the Department Chair, ensuring accreditation standards are met.

The role requires a Doctorate and CRNA/APRN credentials, with several years of clinical practice and prior anesthesia education experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate required for nurse anesthesia education.
• CRNA and APRN licenses required.
• 3+ years clinical practice as nurse anesthetist required.
• 3+ years nurse anesthesia education preferred.
• 5+ years clinical practice as nurse anesthetist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical nurse anesthesia faculty and preceptors.
• Develops, reviews, and revises nurse anesthesia policies and procedures.
• Identifies and recommends appropriate faculty for employment to the Chair.
• Identifies and recommends clinical faculties and community linkages for learning experiences.
• Documents and maintains student clinical experiences and records.
• Designs and coordinates nurse anesthesia practicum and courses.
• Participates in student advising and mentorship; supports accreditation-compliant curriculum.
• Contributes to clinical administration of nurse anesthesia across the lifespan.
• Assists Chair in budgeting for resources for faculty and preceptors.
