Job summary

MediLodge of Gaylord is seeking a dedicated individual to begin Nurse Aide training with no prior certification required. The program pays for training and supports you as you work toward CNA credentials.

You will join a team focused on patient-centered care, growth, and collaboration with Nursing staff. Once certified, you will participate in resident care activities under supervision, learning essential functions such as meal assistance, mobility support, and safe handling of residents.

Qualifications

• No experience required; MediLodge pays for training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CNA credentials and team-based care skills.

Responsibilities

• Label resident clothing and belongings.
• Pass meal trays and assist with tray setup and feeding as needed.
• Serve meals and clear dining areas.
• Transport/escort residents within the facility to various areas.

Summary:
The Non-Certified Nurse Aide provides support and assistance to Nursing Department and staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Essential Functions:

• Labels resident clothing and belongings.
• Passes meal trays and offers basic tray set-up. May assist with feeding, if competency demonstrated.
• Serves food and buses dishes in the dining room.
• Transports/escorts residents to areas within the facility, e.g. dining areas, activities, resident care conferences, etc.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.

Ability to learn infection control techniques.

Ability to be patient and polite.
