Job summary

Qualifications

• State-approved Nursing Assistant training and CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Measure and record vital signs, reporting abnormal results.
• Maintain documentation of care and required forms.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection.
• Support ADLs and encourage independence where possible.
• Provide emotional support and foster a compassionate environment.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and socialization.
