Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers using proper lifting and positioning techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Measure and record vital signs and report abnormal findings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care and changes in condition.
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and encourage independence.
• Provide emotional support and foster a compassionate environment.
• Ensure safety through infection control and emergency preparedness.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team; collaborate with nurses.
