Homewood Living Martinsburg is seeking candidates for its Nurse Aide in Training program. This paid training prepares you for the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide exam (NNAAP) within 120 days, with a 4-6 week class and an exam requirement for continued employment.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to lift and transfer 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn during an eight-hour shift.
• English-speaking proficiency for resident communication.

Responsibilities

• Treat all resident information as confidential.
• Assist with personal hygiene and basic care.
• Provide clean bedding and make beds as needed.
• Support resident nutrition and feeding when necessary.
• Record resident information accurately and report changes.
• Participate in resident care planning.
• Promote activities of daily living per care plan.
• Perform duties as directed by supervisor.
