Job summary

Homewood Living Martinsburg is offering a Nurse Aide in Training Program with an Evening Shift in a part-time role. The paid training prepares you to take the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide exam (NNAAP) within 120 days for continued employment.

Successful completion leads to a CNA role under licensed supervision, with incentives after 6 months and one year. The program emphasizes confidential resident care, adherence to policies, and daily living assistance for geriatric residents in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and transfer 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop and twist for an 8 hour shift.
• Strong organizational skills for sequential tasks.
• Listed on state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days.
• Motivation to work with geriatric residents.
• Ability to speak English clearly to residents.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents' information as confidential.
• Follow policies and maintain standards of practice.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily care tasks.
• Provide clean linens and assist with feeding as needed.
• Record resident information accurately and report changes.
