Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Houston, TX is offering a Nurse Aide in Training program with paid on-the-job training. Candidates will gain hands-on experience while learning to assist residents with daily living activities under supervision.

Successful completion of the introductory Hospitality Aide period may move you into the Nurse Aide Training Class offered by the facility. Prior caregiving experience and strong communication are advantageous for advancement and certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with comfort and safety and report situations that may cause injuries.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, and mobility.
• Log care provided into Electronic Medical Records system.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain care equipment and supplies and assist ambulatory residents as needed.
• Respond to call lights promptly and seek assistance when needed.
• Deliver compassionate, professional customer service at all times.
• Assist with non-clinical duties during introductory Hospitality Aide period.
