Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with comfort and safety; report situations affecting resident safety.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Log care provided into Electronic Medical Records system.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Observe and report symptoms and changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain care equipment and supplies.
• Assist ambulatory residents and push wheelchair as needed.
• Safely perform movements requiring strength and mobility.
• Respond to call lights promptly and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator or Nurse Management.
