Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients/residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Take vital signs and measurements (height/weight).
• Feed and ambulate patients according to procedures.
• Maintain clean and orderly rooms and environment.
• Observe and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as answering phones and entering data.
