Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Nurse Aide I/II to provide essential patient care on a full-time basis. The role supports daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, and safe patient handling within the 7a–7p schedule, including weekends and holidays.

The position includes data entry and basic clerical tasks as part of routine duties. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid Nurse Aide listing, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Takes vital signs and measurements such as height and weight.
• Feeds and ambulates patients according to procedures.
• Maintains clean and orderly patient rooms.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Assists with clerical tasks including answering phones and data entry.
• Maintains stock and inventory of supplies.
• Performs Nurse Aide I/II tasks per state guidelines.
• Administers procedures like 12-lead ECG and venipuncture.
