Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide I for a full-time role in the 34401 Atrium Health Union West - Nursing: Medical/Surgical unit. The position is eligible for benefits, 36 hours per week, and requires a combination of shifts, with one weekend and additional holiday coverage as needed.

The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS required by policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients per procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Instructs patients and families on safety.
