Job summary

Prometric is seeking experienced nurses to administer the CNA exam at Stratford, CT. The Nurse Aide Evaluator proctors computer-based exams, observes candidates during practical and written components, and ensures a high-quality testing experience across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with long-term care experience, and are available to travel within a 30‑mile radius, 1–3 days per week. Prometric offers flexible scheduling and on-site leadership at test centers.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active, unrestricted license in the state of operation.
• One year of experience in long-term care or caring for chronically ill.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web browsing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proctor a computerized knowledge-based examination.
• Objectively observe and score candidates during clinical skills.
• Deliver test events and maintain security.
• Prepare events by verifying rosters and site setup.
• Greet examinees and verify identification.
• Monitor candidates during written exams and direct others as needed.
• Manage testing environment to ensure candidate flow.
• Observe and rate candidates during practical exams.
• Resolve candidate issues or report to supervisor.
• Protect exam content by administering computer-based testing.
• Maintain workstation readiness and reset passwords as necessary.
