Providence is seeking a Nurse Advice Line Representative to manage incoming calls under the Nurse Advice Line direction. This role provides clerical support and directs callers to community resources or physician referrals as needed, contributing to patient-centered care.

The position is part-time in a hybrid setting at the St Jude Heritage Medical Group location in Brea, CA. The successful candidate will join a team focused on compassionate, accessible health guidance and coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Must have basic MS Word, Windows and Excel experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years of experience in a Health care environment.
• Experience with multiple line telecommunication system.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming Nurse Advice calls.
• Provide clerical support to Nurse Advice Line staff and management.
• Refer callers to community resources, health classes, and/or physician referrals when necessary.
