Job description

Requirements
Conditions of employment
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Direct deposit of pay is required.
  • Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
  • This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
  • This position is a Testing Designated position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. You will be required to sign a DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Education Requirement
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
  • A Bachelor's degree in a programs other than nursing is acceptable only if possession of a current, active, full, and unrestricted nurse license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States is presented. Nurses from Puerto Rico will be required to show proof of passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
