Job summary

Byron Wellness Community is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care, lead clinical tasks, and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to ensure high-quality resident care.

The RN will supervise CNAs/QMAs, monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and contribute to care planning and quality improvement while upholding the facility’s values and standards.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN/LPN program.
  • Must have an active RN or LPN license.
  • Experience with dementia, behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, or other specialized populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents.
  • Supervise and support CNAs and QMAs.
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes.
  • Administer treatments and medications as ordered.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Complete assessments, charting, and required documentation.
  • Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Serve as a mentor, teacher, and role model for nursing staff.

Education

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Active RN/LPN license

What You'll Do

Job Type

Full time and part time available

Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Requirements:

Required Qualifications
