Byron Wellness Community in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents and families. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, respect privacy, and support a compassionate, team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Respect resident privacy by knocking and announcing yourself before entering.
• Make beds and prepare rooms for incoming residents.
• Dust furniture, equipment, and common areas.
• Clean windows, walls, doors, handrails, and surfaces.
• Empty waste and transport trash safely.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns.
• Assist during emergency preparedness activities as assigned.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the community.

What You'll Do

Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred
• Experience working with individuals living with dementia, behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, or other specialized populations.
