Job summary

N3B Los Alamos is seeking personnel to sort, segregate, and size reduce radioactive waste in a safe, team-based environment. You will wear protective gear and follow detailed procedures to ensure safety, security and quality in every task.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required per DOE 426.2.
• Two years related experience preferred for Level 2.
• Ability to obtain forklift and crane operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle, package, and document hazardous and radioactive waste.
• Open waste containers and describe items with results.
• Coordinate characterization, certification, and disposal with regulatory compliance.
