Job summary

SIMCO, LLC is seeking a qualified Central Characterization Program (CCP) Vendor Project Manager to join the team in Los Alamos, NM. The role includes leadership of CCP operations, coordination with external groups, and ensuring safety and quality in operations.

Minimum requirements include a degree with years of related experience, the ability to obtain a Q clearance, and demonstrated knowledge of safety programs. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with two years related experience.
• Associate’s degree with six years related experience.
• High School Diploma with ten years related experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" Clearance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operational safety, conduct of operations, and quality assurance programs.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and walking.

Responsibilities

• Complete CCP Vendor Project Manager qualification training.
• Interface with working groups and customers to complete work scope.
• Provide oversight of CCP operations personnel and leadership.
• Direct assigned personnel on execution of work scope.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and report daily plans and priorities to CCP management.
• Coordinate CCP equipment deployment, demobilization and maintenance.
• Mentor team members and support professional development.
• Develop lessons learned and task briefs as necessary.
