Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 2+ years related technical experience.
• 2+ years related mechanical or naval experience
• Willingness to work any shift per union agreement

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical testing of nuclear components per test procedures.
• Carry out mechanical alignment and alignment checks for primary and secondary detectors.
• Act as Safety Technician to ensure proper tagging out, isolation, and de-pressurization for safe work.
• Read and interpret mechanical system diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and Test Equipment Drawings to build/install test gear.
