Job summary

TerraPower LLC. in Wyoming seeks an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead a small team, own facility systems, and drive reliability for the Natrium Test & Fill Facility. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and engineering teams.

You will oversee planning, maintenance execution, and project activities, ensuring robust performance in a high-reliability environment and adherence to nuclear-related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in industrial facilities or high-reliability environments.
• Experience leading engineering/maintenance teams in an operational setting.
• Maintenance program development and CMMS experience.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with engineering change control and configuration management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and maintenance technicians; set priorities and manage work.
• Own facility systems from an engineering and reliability perspective; manage changes and configuration.
• Plan, schedule and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance using a CMMS.
• Ensure safety culture and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Support commissioning and test activities with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, specifications, calculations and procedures.
• Lead root cause analyses and reliability improvements to maximize uptime.
• Manage small to mid-size projects with scope, schedules and contractor oversight.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
