Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks a Nuclear Support Facilities Supervisor to lead the D501 Pure Water Operations and oversee daily maintenance planning using CMMS.

You will develop workloads, complete work orders, maintain safety programs, and coordinate with outside contractors while supporting other Facilities teams.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and 5+ years in repair/maintenance of Grade A systems, plus the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Overview

Operations supervisor position for the Facilities trade organization.

This position is for the D501 Pure Water Operations Supervision. This will consist of developing and scheduling daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, completing work orders in a timely manner, maintaining safety (JHA) and training programs, conducting preventative maintenance program of facilities equipment and utilizing process improvement programs. Oversee Grade "A" work in the facilities department.

Applicant will also be required to work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Grade "A" system
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Must meet one of the following:

• Minimum 1 year trade experience at electric boat
• Minimum of 3 yearcombined relevant experience and leadership experiencein a high-volume setting
• Minimum of 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field

Preferred:

• 4-5 years of supervision experience
• HVAC, Compressed Air, Steam, Water and Gas experience
• Previous PRC Supervisor qualification a plus
