Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Contract Specialist to support the Nuclear market within the DHO Kiewit Supply Network. You will develop, review, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts across project life cycles.

Based in Idaho Falls or other locations, you’ll work with engineers, estimators, buyers, and logistics to ensure compliance, cost savings, and on-time delivery. This role emphasizes supplier relationships, RFP activity, and contract execution with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with at least 2+ years’ experience in contracts & supply chain functions.
• Experience with the RFP process, contract development/negotiation, and procurement execution.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, estimators, buyers, logistics and expediting in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and negotiate terms and conditions of supplier contracts.
• Manage supplier contracts and supplier relationships to meet standards and client requirements.
• Prepare/issue RFPs and evaluate proposals to identify vendors meeting budget and schedule constraints.
• Assist in development of procurement templates and leverage vendors across multiple procurements to create cost savings.
• Resolve issues with defective goods and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
