Job summary

Radiant, an El Segundo, CA-based startup, is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to join the sourcing team. You will support procurement of components, materials, and services for our micro-reactor systems, working with SDEs, Engineering, QA, and Operations.

The role emphasizes supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and negotiation, with the chance to grow hands-on in supplier management while contributing to high-stakes engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, hardware, or hands-on engineering projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day PO tracking and expediting for assigned commodities.
• Serve as the contact for supplier relationships; escalate high-stakes issues as needed.
• Analyze quotes and cost data to surface savings opportunities.
• Support supplier risk assessments using mechanical engineering background.
• Track procurement metrics and contribute to supplier scorecards with SDEs.
• Assist with negotiation prep and draft MSAs/NDAs and terms.
• Translate technical requirements into sourcing criteria with Engineering teams.
