Job summary

Radiant, an El Segundo, CA-based startup, seeks a Supply Quality Engineer to build our supplier quality program from the ground up. You’ll own qualification, onboarding, audits, and performance management, partnering with design, manufacturing, and materials teams to raise supplier reliability.

You will drive process improvements, develop quality documents, and establish a robust framework to ensure parts meet exact standards on time, every time.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on supplier quality experience in regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, defense, or medical device).
• Ability to independently process supplier quality transactions without step-by-step guidance.
• Experience owning or drafting quality program documents (clauses, requirements, etc.).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality management systems.
• Experience with supplier audit methods and corrective action management.

Responsibilities

• Own the supplier qualification and onboarding process end-to-end.
• Own, refine, and expand quality program documentation including manuals and clauses.
• Develop supplier capability improvement plans and track milestones.
• Define procurement assurance and acceptance framework for supplier types and quality levels.
• Execute supplier audits and manage supplier performance with corrective actions.
• Partner cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and materials teams.
• Process and disposition supplier quality issues including deviations and NCRs.
