Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Project Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance activities within the supply chain for Advanced Nuclear projects. The role covers supplier qualification, audits, and end-to-end quality lifecycle from intake to non-conformance resolution.

Strong governance of nuclear standards and cross-functional collaboration are essential. Qualified candidates will have a background in engineering, manufacturing, or nuclear QA with experience in 10CFR50 Appendix B, NQA-1, CSA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 4 years in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing support, or nuclear quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of nuclear quality standards and regulatory requirements (10CFR50 Appendix B, NQA-1, CSA N299, CSA N285, ISO-9001)

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier qualification and surveillance activities, including on-site audits
• Define quality requirements and guide adherence to engineering specifications
• Drive defect-reduction through corrective actions and process improvements
• Author and review technical quality documents and plans
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering and suppliers to meet project needs
• Travel up to 50% to supplier and customer sites as required
