Job summary

Westinghouse Electric is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to maintain designated outdoor areas on site at the Catawba nuclear facility. You will operate hand tools, mowers, weed eaters, and other equipment, perform pesticide and fertilizer applications, and support safety and security procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to operate hand tools and outdoor machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas on site using tools and equipment.
• Mow areas and apply pesticides and fertilizers as needed.
• Report to the site coordinator and adhere to safety procedures.
