Job summary

Terrestrial Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Category Buyer for Nuclear Services to manage day-to-day purchasing, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries for our IMSR projects. You will work with Engineering, Quality, and Project teams to ensure supplier documentation, compliance with NRC/CNSC and export controls, and timely delivery.

Hybrid work is available. Candidates should have 4–7 years in purchasing, a related bachelor’s degree, and experience with ERP systems (Oracle SCM, SAP

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of purchasing or procurement experience in nuclear.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Familiarity with NRC/CNSC and 10 CFR regulatory requirements.
• Experience issuing and tracking purchase orders with suppliers.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle SCM, SAP Ariba, Coupa).

Responsibilities

• Purchase order execution and tracking with suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers on confirmations and delivery schedules.
• Support regulatory compliance and export controls in purchasing.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Project teams.
