Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking an Armed Nuclear Security Officer to defend the station and protect personnel, assets and the public. You will patrol, monitor access, perform inspections and respond to threats in a 12-hour shift environment.

The role requires maintaining NRC qualifications, a valid firearm license, and successful completion of all security training. Non-negotiable pay is $24.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain nuclear unescorted access.
• Must meet state requirements to carry a firearm.
• Must pass NRC and site training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site security per procedures and post orders.
• Conduct patrols and inspections of security areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Deter misconduct and safety violations.
• Complete training and obtain necessary qualifications for armed Nuclear Security.
