This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven leader with deep power generation expertise, strong technical knowledge, and a track record of building high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Managers to identify customer needs, address business challenges through consultative selling, and execute strategic sales and business plans.
  • Deliver regional and sub-regional commitments for orders, revenue, contribution margin, market penetration, and profitable growth.
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with customers at all organizational levels, creating strategies to secure long-term, profitable business.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share, grow sales volume, increase backlog, and develop integrated portfolio solutions across the installed nuclear fleet.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by evaluating feedback, establishing action plans, and ensuring timely follow-through.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals to strengthen performance, support retention, and build a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Ensure alignment with the nuclear market strategy, commercial priorities, and daily management objectives.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts for orders, commitments, and convertible orders at the sub-regional level.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, promoting a customer-centric approach to commercial decisions and service delivery.
  • Provide demand forecasting and sales pacing insights to Sales Operations and Finance to support planning and business performance.
  • Monitor market economics, industry trends, customer strategies, plant profiles, operational requirements, refueling outage schedules, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Lead and participate in deal strategy development and reviews in collaboration with Sales, Commercial Operations, Customer Service Directors, and other relevant functional teams.
  • Continuously assess and develop the regional opportunity pipeline, ensuring opportunities are properly qualified and advanced.
  • Lead or participate in Lean initiatives to improve commercial processes, simplify decision-making, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership through transparency, humility, accountability, focused execution, and collaboration across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the power generation industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience with steam turbine and generator products and services, nuclear reactor operations, maintenance, and nuclear refueling processes.

  • Previous direct experience managing employees, including team leadership, performance development, and coaching.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear power generation technologies, service offerings, installed-base opportunities, and complex project execution.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, including strategic sales planning, negotiation, deal development, and profitable growth management.
  • Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and translate customer requirements into effective business strategies.
  • Experience developing sales forecasts, managing opportunity pipelines, and delivering order and margin targets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess market dynamics and make informed commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated inclusive leadership and the ability to succeed within a matrixed organization.
  • Preferred: Postgraduate degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
