Job summary

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Senior Nuclear Safety Hazard Analyst to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance of nuclear facilities. You will identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and help implement safety controls across projects.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams, develop emergency response plans, review safety analysis reports, and contribute to continuous safety improvements through incident analysis and industry trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in nuclear safety analysis or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments for nuclear systems and facilities.
• Develop and review safety analysis reports including probabilistic risk assessments and deterministic safety analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective safety controls and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor compliance with nuclear safety regulations and industry standards, preparing documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Investigate safety incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness planning and participate in drills and training exercises.
• Stay current with advancements in nuclear safety technology, regulations, and best practices to inform continuous improvement efforts.
