Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Reactor Services Technician to execute safe and efficient activities in the Outage Planning and Services Organization. You will perform reactor disassembly, fuel handling, and maintenance of support equipment at nuclear facilities, with travel up to 30% during outages.

High school diploma with experience in reactor services or related power plant work is required; an engineering technology degree is preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma and 2 years Reactor Services or related power plant experience.
Associate Degree or Equivalent in Engineering Technology.
5+ years of experience in Outage Services Refueling activities.
Ability to maintain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.
Experience with reactor disassembly, fuel handling, and reactor service equipment maintenance.
Qualified or previously qualified in Reactor Services Technician duties.
Working knowledge of reactor vessel servicing, fuel movement, and spent fuel operations.
Ability to interpret and execute procedures, work packages, and site instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform all assigned work safely and efficiently following procedures and NRC regulations.
Support Pre-Job briefings and train for Reactor Services technician responsibilities.
Review work packages and walk-down clearances; document work performed and participate in corrective actions.
