Job summary

Constellation is seeking a seasoned engineer to perform advanced technical problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. You will make technical decisions, draw on broad knowledge of industry codes, and apply practical engineering principles to complex tasks.

The role requires a engineering degree or technical discipline with industry experience, plus or minus senior reactor operator licensure, and a readiness to travel up to half the time to Constellation’s energy centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline (e.g. chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, nuclear) or related tech field.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with relevant industry experience or Constellation Reactor Services exposure.
• Associate degree plus significant industry experience or skilled trades apprenticeship.
• High school diploma with substantial industry experience and access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth engineering analysis, management, and program implementation.
• Offer technical consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
• Ensure task management and timely completion of engineering work.
• Apply general engineering principles to tasks and ensure design criteria and codes are followed.
• Research, review, and analyze projects for regulatory and technical purposes.
• Recommend equipment or methods to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Willingness to travel 10–50% to Constellation Clean Energy Center.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
