Job summary

Constellation Energy in Clinton, Illinois, is seeking Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at the Clinton Nuclear Power Station. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators and to hold an NRC license.

You will attend ILT, complete training to obtain the SRO license, and be prepared to supervise shift operations, with possible outage support and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1.5+ years as Reactor Operator or Supervisor in a comparable or noncomparable facility, with 1.5 years after qualification.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical examination/testing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Supervise licensed reactor operators and equipment operators; support outage activities and emergency response.
