The successful candidate will diagnose and treat patients, deliver health education to individuals and families, perform diagnostic procedures, and maintain accurate medical records in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor—Board of Medicine licensed and qualified to practice in the service state; board certified or board eligible Upon Hire.
• Doctor of Osteopathy—Board of Medicine licensed and qualified to practice in the service state; board certified or board eligible Upon Hire.
• Federal Drug Enforcement Admin license (DEA) required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to medical staff approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and family members.
• Performs necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interprets information gathered during the diagnostic process and formulates appropriate plan of care.
• Maintains patient records and accurate information.
• Meets regularly with the care team for consultation and collaboration and ensures appropriate referrals for patients.
