Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Senior Nuclear Quality Engineer to lead the Nuclear Quality Management System at the Charlotte site. You will coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure quality across orders, supplier flow, and product delivery to customers.

The role requires strong experience in nuclear quality programs, audits, and problem solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with ASME/NQA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (manufacturing, nuclear, industrial, or mechanical)
• 5 years’ experience leading or working in a nuclear quality program
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor
• Experience with Quality Software Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• English bilingual, business conversation

Responsibilities

• Lead Nuclear Quality Management System at the site.
• Lead Nuclear audit program (external, supplier, internal).
• Partner with all functional areas to assure Nuclear Quality compliance.
• Support Customer Experience per Corporate Guidelines.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Engage in Nuclear Project reviews and ITP development.
• Manage Nuclear AVL and supplier performance.
• Provide site training on Nuclear Safety Culture and Quality topics.
• Lead and support quality audits.
