Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a nuclear quality engineer to plan and execute standard quality techniques on a nuclear project. The role requires coordinating quality reviews of design, procurement, and turnover documents to ensure compliance with the project quality program.

Ideal candidates will have a four-year engineering degree, three years of related experience, and familiarity with ASME NQA-1, with strong communication and collaboration across engineering and supply chain teams. U.S.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering and three years of related experience.
• Familiarity with ASME NQA-1.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to advocate nuclear quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews of design output documents and procurement packages to determine compliance with project quality program requirements.
• Perform quality reviews of supplier submittals to determine compliance with procurement quality requirements.
• Perform quality reviews of turnover documentation to determine compliance with project quality requirements.
• Document, evaluate, and resolve issues within the corrective action program.
• Contribute to mitigation of quality risks and resolution of client complaints regarding quality issues.
• Maintain relationships with engineering and supply chain stakeholders.
