Job summary

Saint-Gobain Omniseal Solutions in Orange, CT seeks a Quality Engineer to support QA activities across products and processes with emphasis on nuclear-related items. You will develop inspection standards, procedures, and sampling plans, and participate in internal and supplier audits.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing, 3+ years in quality engineering, and experience with PPAP/FAI. Knowledge of NQA-1, IATF, and ISO-9001/AS-9100 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing required.
• 3+ years as a Quality Engineer in nuclear environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with PPAP/FAI submissions and quality audits.
• Knowledge of NQA-1, IATF, ISO-9001/AS-9100 QMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control Nuclear Program at Omniseal Solutions Orange.
• Work with customers and suppliers to communicate requirements through all departments.
• Assist audits and coordinate closure of corrective actions.
• Meet with customers or suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Report nonconformances and work with process engineers to correct.
• Support preparation and execution of audits; perform internal audits.
• Understand ISO 14001 environmental policies.
• Supervise Quality Technician(s)/Inspector(s) if applicable.
