Mirion Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA program compliance for the RMS product line in Georgia, USA.

You will ensure products meet ISO 9001, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 standards while collaborating with engineers, auditors, and suppliers in the nuclear supply chain. The role emphasizes leading audits, developing procurement evaluations, and coordinating export compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline)
• Minimum 3 years of directly relevant commercial nuclear work history with QA experience
• Knowledge of QA regulations and standards such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, ASME NQA-1, and IEEE 323/344
• Ability to perform and document audits, inspections, and oversight activities
• Nuclear Lead Auditor certification (ASME NQA-1 / ANSI) or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication skills and collaboration across engineering, quality, and supplier partners
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract and export-control requirements
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Responsabilités

• Lead QA program compliance and oversight for the RMS product line
• Organize and lead internal and external audits including ISO 9001 and NUPIC audits
• Develop and review technical evaluations and procurement requirements
• Conduct supplier quality audits and source inspections at domestic and European suppliers (~10% travel)
• Serve as point of contact for customer and supplier quality inquiries
• Prepare inspection plans for internal operations and supplier oversight
• Support CAPA processes and non-conformance tracking
• Serve as Site Export Control Coordinator for RMS with exports compliance
• Other duties as assigned
