Job summary

Planned Systems International, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer Associate II in Richland, WA to support Navarro-ATL for the 222-S Laboratory. The role focuses on QA/QC engineering services, including design control, audits, non-conforming item handling, and maintenance of quality program documentation.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in engineering or science, at least 2 years of related experience, and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field is required.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or similar quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, process procedures, and quality reports to identify quality problems or trends.
• Perform quality control inspections of products and processes.
• Develop quality plans, procedures, and audit checklists.
• Provide quality assurance support to procurement: oversight, vendor qualification, QA requirements, and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure sampling plans and quality instructions are used to assess quality levels.
