Job summary

Abilene Christian University is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the NEXT Lab Quality Assurance Program. You will ensure compliance with NRC and DOE standards, implement QA processes, and manage nuclear materials accountability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in nuclear QA/QC. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential. A Master's degree and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in nuclear QA/QC or regulated research environment.
• Experience with NRC/DOE audits and quality management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with export control laws and nuclear material accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the NEXT Lab Quality Assurance Program to ensure compliance and safety.
• Implement inspection protocols and track nuclear material inventory.
• Act as QA/QC representative during regulatory audits.
